Your CV, or Curriculum Vitae, is a very important 'sales tool'. It tells an employer what you have done and what you are good at.
What is a CV?
- A brief outline of a person's education, previous employment (paid or unpaid) and other achievements.
- Used instead of an employer's application form. N.B. Check if the employer has requested a CV or requires you to send off for an application form.
- A CV is a document that gives you the opportunity to sell yourself to employers. e.g. What you can offer them, and can increase your chances of getting a job.
