Prayer in Praise

From the Psalms of David to traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs, we will all know words or verses from particular songs that evoke strong feelings within us.

This month we’d like to encourage you to use these as the basis for you prayer time. Here are some ideas you might like to try:

Print off a favourite hymn and use each verse as a trigger for your prayer.

Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.

Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous deeds among all peoples.

David - Psalm 96

You're rich in love

And You're slow to anger

Your name is great

And Your heart is kind

For all Your goodness

I will keep on singing

Ten thousand reasons

For my heart to find
