As you journey through this resource the most essential piece of equipment you will need is a Bible. Sometimes people use a Bible App on their phone or tablet device, but where possible we would recommend you use a printed edition.
Online Bibles and Apps are great for comparing scripture but as you begin your journey it is helpful to see the Bible in its entirety rather than as segment on a computer screen. This will also help you gain a stronger sense of how books, chapters and verses relate to one another.
Your Bible should also be written in a style that you are able to engage with. Often people have an older translation such as the King James, and this can be difficult to understand. You might find the ‘Good News’, ’New International’ or ‘English Standard’ versions a helpful starting point.
