Spending time in prayer during the hustle and bustle of the day can be challenging. Even when we carve out those opportunities our heads can still seem to buzz with the business of the day making it difficult to focus upon the opportunity afforded by our prayer time.

Making an activity or an element from your daily routine part of your prayer life can be really beneficial.

This video provides a simple example of how the creation of a crochet square could be used as part of a framework for prayer - a visual representation of all you bring before the Lord. It is not meant to act as a beginners crochet guide but it does provide a simple overview of the process.

A handout to support this activity can be downloaded from: http://www.g-21-mobile.com/PBOX/PRAYER_SQUARE.pdf

To make these squares you will need to know how to make a slip knot, chain, double and treble crochet.

We hope you find it useful.
